RESL 1500 e-Portfolio

Research is an ongoing process, and students must demonstrate engagement through various stages, including proposal development, recognized research activities, and knowledge sharing. They can provide evidence from a single major project (e.g., Honors thesis, UREAP, NSERC USRA) or multiple research experiences (e.g., class projects, assistantships, volunteer research). Other relevant experiences include Knowledge Makers, Research Apprentice and Coach Programs, Directed Studies, service-learning, capstone projects, and major performances.

At TRU, research takes diverse forms, so evidence of students’ ability to understand, evaluate, and communicate research will vary by discipline.

This course helps students document, reflect on, and communicate their learning. Successful completion earns them the Undergraduate Research Certificate.
